Chemtura Corp. To Raise Prices On Some Products

MIDDLEBURY, Conn. (AP) -- Specialty chemicals maker Chemtura Corp. said Monday it will raise prices by as much as 15 percent on antioxidant and UV stabilizer products to help offset what it called "significant and sustained" higher raw material costs.

The increases will take effect on deliveries after Jan. 1 or as contracts allow.

Shares of Chemtura lost 4 cents to close at $14.69 in Monday trading.
