This year’s event is in Dubai and includes more than 850 competitors from 55 countries.

The World Air Games is an international air sports event help by the Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) — the world’s governing body for air sports.

Conducted under FAI rules, the games are held every four years and run from December 1 to 12. 

This year’s event is in Dubai and includes more than 850 competitors from 55 countries all vying for medals in disciplines featuring gyrocopters, parachuting, paragliding and aeromodeling just to name a few.
