Snapchat Gun Dealer Convicted for Selling, Manufacturing Firearms

He was unable to legally purchase a gun, so he bought kits online and made his own.

A 20-year-old pled guilty to unlawful dealing and manufacturing firearms.

The individual, Andrew Jace Larrabure-Tuma of Sacramento, was using Snapchat to advertise guns for sale.

Unable to legally purchase a gun in California, Larrabure-Tuma bought kits on the internet and made his own firearms.

He also bought kits from firearms manufacturer Polymer80.

During an investigation, Larrabure-Tuma sold firearms to a confidential informant and undercover officers.

A search warrant uncovered the operation, which included firearm kits from Polymer80, tools for manufacturing firearms, partially complete guns and ammunition.

Larrabure-Tuma faces up to five years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
