SpaceX is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2022.
As if to commemorate, CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter to announce the SpaceX Falcon team is shooting for 60 launches this year.
That number would nearly double SpaceX’s record high 31 successful flights in 2021.
The SpaceX Falcon is a reusable rocket system and had one Falcon 9 rocket used 11 times, according to Business Insider.
The SpaceX Falcon boasts several capabilities, including launching crews and equipment into space.
However, Musk does not have the best track record for SpaceX predictions, as the 31 flights in 2021 fell short of Musk’s goal of 48.
Musk also tweeted SpaceX aims for 4,200 Starlink operating satellites within 18 months, but about 2,000 are currently in service.
