Ajit Manocha Brings Outsourcing, Fab Operations and Emerging Technology Development Insights to SVTC's Winning Commercialization Business Model

SVTC Technologies, the leading commercialization service provider for new emerging silicon-based technologies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ajit Manocha as a new member of the Company's Board of Directors.

Mr. Manocha brings more than 30 years of global expertise in R&D, manufacturing, sales, and general management to SVTC. A seasoned semiconductor expert, Mr. Manocha has held several senior executive and management positions at Spansion, NXP, Philips Semiconductors, AT&T Microelectronics and AT&T Bell Laboratories.

Until recently, Mr. Manocha was Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations and a member of the Executive Management Board at Spansion. He was responsible for all aspects of the company's global manufacturing operations, IT and supply chain management. Prior to Spansion, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Manufacturing Officer at NXP (formerly Philips Semiconductors), where he was responsible for worldwide IC manufacturing, supply chain management and purchasing for the semiconductor division.

Mr. Manocha has previously served on the Board of Directors of International Sematech, the Crolles Alliance, ASMC and has also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of SSMC in Singapore.
