BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (AP) -- Toro Co. said Monday it acquired Lawn Solutions Commercial Products Inc., which makes lawn care equipment for the landscape, rental, municipal and golf markets.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Toro said the addition of Louisville, Ky.-based Lawn Solutions' lineup of aerators, seeders, power rakes and brush cutters, will add key product categories to Toro's offerings.
As part of the deal, Lawn Solutions' owner, David Cook, will continue to consult with Toro after the acquisition and provide product development and category expertise, Toro said.
Toro shares rose 10 cents to $59.83 in late morning trading Monday.
