NEWELL, WV --The Marsh Bellofram Group of Companies (www.marshbellofram.com) today announced its acquisition of ServoTek Products Company, Inc. (ServoTek) of Hawthorne, New Jersey, USA.
Under the terms of the acquisition, ServoTek manufacturing has been moved to Marsh Bellofram global corporate headquarters in Newell, West Virginia, USA. Products will continue to be offered, both standard and custom, under the ServoTek brand, with customer service and technical sales support also transferred to Newell.
ServoTek is a world renowned manufacturer of instrument-grade tachometers and low-cost encoders. ServoTek tachometers provide a convenient and economical means of converting rotational speed into an isolated analog voltage signal suitable for remote indication and feedback control. Combining high-accuracy with low driving torque, ServoTek tachometers are ideal for use in servo systems. They are particularly well-suited to precision integrator and velocity servo applications, both of which require a high linear speed and voltage relationship with minimum ripple of <3% of the DC value at any speed in excess of 40 RPM. ServoTek encoders are designed to adapt to DC motors and meet typical industry requirements for a low-cost, easy mount digital feedback device. Their simplistic design incorporates both housing and hub into a single assembly, alleviating the need for tedious coupling or alignment procedures.
