ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) -- 3D Systems Corp. said Monday it expanded its customer parts services business by acquiring Accelerated Technologies Inc.
Accelerated Technologies is based in Austin, Texas. 3D Systems plans to add Accelerated Technologies' products to its Quickparts and 3Dproparts brands. It did not disclose terms of the deal.
3D Systems makes 3-D printers, which produce sculpted objects like dental molds, plastic packaging, jewelry, and architectural models. The company sells the printers and related software and supplies.
