PARIS (AP) -- The office of French President Nicolas Sarkozy says European plane-making consortium Airbus has won a deal to sell 102 planes to China.
The deal was announced during a visit to Paris by Chinese President Hu Jintao.
Sarkozy's office said Thursday that the aircraft in the deal include Airbus' A320, A330 and A350 models, being sold to Air China, China Eastern and China Southern and CASC.
The statement says the deal is valued at $14 billion total.
A host of other agreements between French and Chinese companies also were signed, including one between France's Areva and China Guangdong Nuclear Power Corp.
