JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Missouri House members are expected to debate automaker incentives and state pension changes.
The full House was expected to consider Tuesday the bills that are the focus of the Legislature's special session. The bills were approved by House committees on Monday.
The manufacturing legislation would offer up to $15 million annually in tax incentives for automakers and their suppliers. The main target is Ford Motor Co.'s Claycomo assembly plant near Kansas City.
The retirement legislation would require state workers to contribute part of their pay toward their pensions. It would also raise the retirement age for state workers. A Senate retirement committee has approved its own possible changes to state pensions.
