Adept Technology Acquires MobileRobots

Provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services has agreed to acquire MobileRobots, which provides autonomous robot and automated guided vehicle (AGV) technologies.

Pleasanton, Calif. -- Adept Technology, a provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, has agreed to acquire MobileRobots Inc., which provides autonomous robot and automated guide vehicle (AGV) technologies.

The acquisition of MobileRobots equip Adept's global sales channels with autonomous robots and associated technologies that will enable the company to address the needs of the production logistics markets.
