LONDON (AP) -- Aircraft engine maker Rolls-Royce Group PLC said Wednesday that revenue and profit this year will be about the same as last year's results despite a challenging market.
The company said the recent disruption of global air traffic due to the Icelandic volcano eruption will put more pressures on some of its customers.
"Whilst we are seeing signs of stabilization and modest improvement in some parts of the global economy, to which our businesses are exposed, the overall environment remains challenging," Chief Executive Sir John Rose said in a statement released ahead of the group's annual general meeting.
