VIENNA (AP) -- Austrian brewer Ottakringer Brauerei AG will merge with bottled water company Voeslauer Mineralwasser AG, company officials announced Wednesday.
The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Shares in the new company, to be called Ottakringer Getraenke AG, will be traded on the Vienna stock exchange, officials told reporters. The merger is scheduled to be completed by September and for stock market purposes will be retroactive to January, they said.
The two companies have an annual turnover of about euro200 million ($284.58 million).
