MONTREAL (CP) -- Bombardier Inc. has confirmed a contract that will see it supply 60 MI09 trainsets for the greater Paris suburb.
The deal, originally announced in April, sees a consortium of Bombardier and French manufacturer Alstom producing the trains in a contract worth a total of US$1.1 billion. Montreal-based Bombardier's share comes to $386 million.
Bombardier will design and assemble the three middle cars of five-car sets at its site in Crespin, France.
The first train is scheduled for presentation in December 2010.
