NEW YORK (AP) -- SORL Auto Parts Inc., which makes brake systems for commercial vehicles, said Wednesday it received contracts to supply parts to two Chinese truck manufacturers.
SORL, based in Zhejiang, China, said it reached an agreement to supply clutch boosters, clutch master cylinders and other air brake products to truck maker KAMA Automobile Manufacturing Co. It did not disclose the value of the agreement.
SORL also said it has a contract to supply products to truck maker Shandong Wuzheng Group. SORL says it expects its sales to that customer to reach 20 million yuan ($2.9 million) this year, double the amount from 2009.
U.S.-traded shares of SORL rose 34 cents, or 3.5 percent, to $9.87 in morning trading.
