PERRYSBURG, Ohio (AP) -- Glass maker Owens-Illinois Inc. said Thursday it acquired a majority stake in Argentine glassmaker Cristalerias Rosario.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
"This acquisition supports our strategic priority of expanding in markets with strong growth potential," said CEO Al Stroucken.
Shares of Owens-Illinois Inc. fell $1.15, or 3.3 percent, to $33.84 during afternoon trading. The stock has traded between $11.45 and $39.56 over the past year.
