MAN, Deutsche Bahn Sign Bus Contract

German bus and truckmaker signed an agreement to provide national rail operator Deutsche Bahn with up to 600 buses valued at some $203 million.

FRANKFURT (AP) -- German bus and truckmaker MAN SE says it's signed an agreement to provide national rail operator Deutsche Bahn AG with up to 600 buses valued at some euro150 million ($203 million).

MAN, based in Munich, said Thursday Deutsche Bahn ordered 250 buses for 2010 and has an option for the remaining 350 buses through 2012.

Deutsche Bahn is Germany's largest bus operator.
