W.P. Carey Buys 4 Best Brands Facilities

Investment company said it bought four manufacturing and warehousing facilities from bakery products maker Best Brands for about $50 million.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Investment company W.P. Carey & Co. LLC said Monday it bought four manufacturing and warehousing facilities from bakery products maker Best Brands Corp. for about $50 million.
 
The facilities contain a combined 665,000 square feet and are located in Dallas, Colton, Calif.; Bonner Springs, Kan.; and Eagan, Minn. W.P. Carey will lease the facilities back to Best Brands on a long-term basis.
