TECUMSEH, Mich. (AP) -- Compressor maker Tecumseh Products Co. said Friday it will consider recent requests by a shareholder, the Detroit-based Herrick Foundation, including the company's potential sale.
Tecumseh said Herrick sent a letter last week requesting that the company form a committee to explore a possible sale and change certain aspects of its corporate structure.
Tecumseh shares closed Thursday at $28.83.
