BALTIMORE — Granite State Manufacturing (GSM), a New Hampshire-based contract manufacturing company serving military and commercial markets, acquired Scandia Manufacturing Company Inc., a manufacturer of precision hydraulic and mechanical marine systems for the Department of Defense.

The acquisition dramatically enhances GSM's existing business with the United States Navy.
