PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A window blind maker is planning to lay off 30 people at its Lycoming County plant and move some product lines to Mexico.
Springs Window Fashions confirms the layoffs at its Montgomery plant. Spokesman Craig Hanson says it may take two months to determine if any of those laid off will be returned to work. If not, Hanson says they will be offered severance packages.
Hanson says some product lines may be returned to the Montgomery plant. The facility employs about 680 people. Spring Window Fashions has its headquarters in Middleton, Wis.
