Boeing Receives Order For 20 Next-Gen 737-800s

Babcock & Brown Aircraft Management purchased the next-generation planes valued at $1.5 billion.

SEATTLE - Boeing and Babcock & Brown Aircraft Management (BBAM) announced that BBAM, in conjuction with business partner, Nomura Babcock & Brown, has placed an order for 20 Next-Generation 737-800s.
 
The order is valued at $1.5 billion. It was previously listed on Boeing Orders & Deliveries Web site, attributed to an unidentified customer.
 
To date, 109 customers have placed orders for over 4,300 Next-Generation 737s. Unfilled orders exceed 1,800 airplanes, worth more than $130 billion at list prices.
