KREAMER, Pa. (AP) — Officials at Wood-Mode Inc. in Kreamer say they will lay off 50 more manufacturing employees.
The Daily Item newspaper in Sunbury, Pa., reports it's the second furlough this month at the Snyder County plant, which has about 2,000 workers.
The first layoff occurred Nov. 16 when 50 people lost their jobs.
Company officials say the layoffs are temporary and in response to the slow housing market.
