PLANO, Texas (AP) -- Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. said Monday it would take a minority stake in soft drink maker Big Red Inc.
Dr Pepper did not disclose the terms of the deal. It is already Big Red's largest distributor with 80 percent of its volume.
Waco, Texas-based Big Red sells soft drinks such as Big Peach, Big Pineapple, Big Punch and other brands.
Dr Pepper's brands include A&W, Squirt, Penafiel, Yoo-hoo and RC Cola.
