Goodrich Gets Army Laser Systems Contract

Company receives five-year contract valued at $187 million to provide laser warning systems.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Goodrich Corp. said Monday it received a five-year contract to provide laser warning systems to the U.S. Army.
 
The company said the contract includes an initial order and a separate contract, which bring the combined value to $187 million.
 
Goodrich, which has been supplying the U.S. military with the systems for 20 years, said its ISR Systems unit will do the work in Danbury, Conn.
