BOCA RATON, Fla. - Sun Capital Partners, Inc., a private investment firm, announced Tuesday that one of its affiliates has acquired the automotive OEM fuel and fluid handling operations of Mark IV Industries, Inc., which will operate under the name, Fluid Routing Solutions, Inc. (FRS).
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
FRS designs and manufactures products in six facilities in Florida, Michigan, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Quebec. Products are sold to OEM automotive manufacturers serving customers in North America, Europe, South America, Asia, and the Pacific regions.
Mark IV Industries is a manufacturer of engineered systems and components using advanced radio frequency, information display, power transmission and air admission technologies. The company is headquartered in Amherst, NY and Airasca, Italy, and has facilities in 16 countries.
