GE Healthcare Purchases Pharma Equipment Maker

Company will acquire Wave Biotech LLC to expand products and services for biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

GE Healthcare announced Monday that it acquired Wave Biotech LLC.

With this acquisition, GE Healthcare will expand its products and services for biopharmaceutical manufacturing including antibodies and vaccines.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Wave Biotech LLC is a supplier of disposable manufacturing technologies for the biopharmaceutical industry.
