Oshkosh Truck Names New Chief Procurement Officer

Paul D. Ericksen will be in charge of purchased materials, strategic supplier relationships and lean implementation.

Oshkosh Truck said Friday that Paul D. Ericksen has been named vice president and chief procurement officer.

Ericksen will be responsible for all purchased materials, managing strategic supplier relationships, implementing lean principles in purchasing and supply chain and purchasing support for new product development and acquisitions.

“We’re pleased to have a talented leader such as Paul joining our team. With more than three decades of manufacturing and supply chain management experience, Paul will be instrumental in developing and implementing world class practices for managing the global supply chain business needs of Oshkosh Truck,” said Robert G. Bohn, Oshkosh chairman, president and CEO.

Prior to his selection by Oshkosh, Ericksen spent 30 years with John Deere and has spent more than 10 years working at state and federal levels with the U.S. Dept. of Commerce Manufacturing Extension Program.
