The Brands Making The Most Positive Impact On Communities

This chart shows the results of a survey about the companies that make the most positive impact on U.S. communities in 2017.

When Morning Consult polled over 330 thousand people in the U.S. about the companies and brands which make the most positive impact on their communities, parcel delivery service UPS came out on top. With 66 saying the impact is positive, only 3 percent felt it was negative (the remaining respondents either said they didn't know or that they had no opinion). In fact, the delivery service industry overall did very well in the survey, with the U.S. Postal Service and FedEx also making it into the top five. Analysis by the source suggests that the frequency and visibility of these brands help push them up such rankings. This view is also supported by Jeffrey Adams, spokesman for USPS, who said that many communities "identify with their local USPS office".
