Telatemp’s TempTestr® IR Food thermometer uses non-contact infrared thermometry to measure the surface temperature of food products and cooking surfaces without contaminating them. The lightweight, handheld meter also provides a fast way of checking surface temperatures in deli lines, salad bars, hot and cold holding trays, oven, rotisseries and grills. Delivering an accuracy of ±1ºC (2ºF) accuracy in the HACCP critical zone of 4°C to 60°C (40°F to 140°F), the unit measures over a range of -30 to 200ºC (-25°F to 400ºF), as selected by the user. The unit weights only 8 oz. and is powered by a standard 9V alkaline battery.
