APS Launches Second Line Of Viprene TPVs

Only weeks after introducing the firm’s first general purpose grades of Viprene® thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs), Alliance Polymers and Services LLC is offering new Viprene P (high performance) thermoplastic vulcanizates. TPVs are compounded with a polyolefin phase with a cross-linked EPDMK phase which give products rubber-like performance for demanding applications.

ROMULUS, MI — Only weeks after introducing the firm’s first general purpose grades of Viprene® thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs), Alliance Polymers and Services LLC is offering new Viprene P (high performance) thermoplastic vulcanizates. TPVs are compounded with a polyolefin phase with a cross-linked EPDMK phase which give products rubber-like performance for demanding applications.

Offered with a high compression set for rugged applications, and available in a wide range of Shore hardnesses — from 45 Shore A to 50 Shore D — new high performance grades of the Viprene TPV are can be ordered in natural or black pellets.
