Greenheck (Schofield, WI) has announced the Model IV, the newest addition to its line of indoor ventilators that deliver 100% outdoor air and are designed for indoor installation in limited spaces. Model IV, without energy recovery, joins Model IVE, which features a compact 3-inch polymer total enthalpy wheel that transfers both heat and moisture with up to 85% total effectiveness. Models IV and IVE have hot water and chilled water coils as well as electric post-heat up to 45 kW.
Greenheck’s indoor ventilators have a modular design that fits through 30” service doors and elevators and can be ceiling-hung. Models IV and IVE are ideal for retrofits, IAQ improvement projects, VHE stretch code initiatives, and applications such as:
- Facilities where 100% outdoor air is required.
- Buildings with roof constraints, such as a pitched roof.
- Multilevel high-rise buildings where rooftop DOAS is impractical or difficult.
- All-electric decarbonization initiatives.
