The Parker Hannifin Corporation (Marysville, OH) announces the PV360, a new addition to the PVplus axial pistol pump family. The PV360 is a variable displacement, 360 cc/rev pump, which can handle industrial applications with operating pressures to 5,000 psi. According to the company, the PV360 is best suited for cranes and lifting equipment, presses, metal forming machines, hydraulic power units (HPUs), and more. In applications where the hydraulic system may already be subject to high impact forces, the PV360 produces between 40 to 60 percent less pressure and flow pulsation. In addition, the modular design allows the pump to be directly mounted with any piping, which permits straightforward in-field conversion.
