The core of the Yale Global Max HC is a double-girder style, which contains numerous features that set it apart from other hoists. The external hoist motor helps optimize cooling by preventing heat transfer in either direction, and allows for easy maintenance.

The hoists also use a sealed, fully -enclosed, pressure-tested gearbox with all of the gears submerged in oil for maximum protection. A fully-enclosed free loop guide is designed to eliminate a slack rope condition during operation.
