EXAIR (Cincinnati, OH) has a new 30-gallon Chip Vac, which picks up chips and delivers them to an ordinary 30-gallon drum.
It can be moved from drum to drum in order to keep different materials separate for recycling, and can be used on fixtures, floors, and work surfaces in machining centers, lathes, mills, and more.
The compressed air-powered Chip Vac uses a 0.1 micron filter bag to keep the surrounding air clean. In addition, the system uses no motors, which ensures a long life and virtually no maintenance.
