The Hamilton Caster & Mfg. Co. (Hamilton, OH) engineering department unveils its next generation swivel technology, Hamilton Precision Integrated, HPI. The new HPI design improves the bearing’s element of contact and the number of contact points. It can be found on select series of Hamilton’s heavy duty forged steel casters with load capacities ranging from 600-23,000 lbs per caster. Casters equipped with the HPI technology have been shown to swivel more easily under heavy load and outlast conventional swivel raceways in 24/7 operations such as automatic guided vehicles and tow-line carts.
