The EPEXC-25 Explosion-Proof extension cord allows operators to safely extend the range of their explosion-proof light or equipment cords beyond the boundaries of the hazardous work area. These units are constructed of 25 ft. of 12/3 SOOW explosion-proof cord rated at 15 amps of continuous service. It is chemical and abrasion resistant and comes with a 20 amp explosion-proof receptacle installed on one end and a 15 amp explosion-proof plug installed on the other end. Also included is an extra matching plug for operators to attach to equipment, allowing them to avoid any issues with plug and receptacle equipment compatibility with the cord. Applications include manufacturing and industrial areas where wetness or combustible dust is present.
