New rotary valve is engineered for heavy duty industrial service and high volumetric efficiency at up to 1.0 bar, or 15 PSI, pressure differential. The food, milling and baking industries utilize product with a flat-tipped rotor and lip seals to facilitate efficient material discharge. Product is used to handle sugar, flour, cereal and other food products, and will meter flour at over 100,000 lbs./hr. Product has an eight-blade rotor that maintains a minimum two-blade labyrinth seal to minimize air leakage.
