Air Science has designed its Vent-Box ductless filtration system to protect laboratory personnel from chemical vapors found inside of standalone chemical safety cabinets. According to the company, its Vent-Box additionally provides:
- The company’s exclusive multiplex filtration system, which includes a pre-filter and main filter to create a chemical, physical or combination architecture to adsorb, neutralize or trap the target chemicals or particulate.
- Constant negative pressure to remove vapors and particulates from cabinet interiors.
- A flexible hose connected to the cabinet to pull fumes into the system.
- The return of clean, filtered air to the laboratory, eliminating the need for external ducting and minimizing the loss of treated, conditioned air from the facility.
