Eriez announces the new Model CFP Metal Separator for the plastics and rubber industry. Installed directly above the material feed throat of an extruder, injection molding or blow molding machine, this unit offers high sensitivity to all metal types. The separator is compact, enabling successful operation with all conveying systems, especially vacuum conveyors. Metal contaminants are removed by means of a separating slide and a Venturi nozzle via a flexible hose into a reject material container. This model is available in the following standard widths: 1.18 in. (30 mm), 1.57 in. (40 mm), 1.97 in. (50 mm) and 2.36 in. (60 mm).
