MISUMI USA recently expanded its sanitary pipes and accessories lineup with a greater range of options in selecting fluid- and air-handling system components used in processing chemicals, food and beverage products, pharmaceuticals, medical products, electronics and other products requiring compliance with clean room or sanitary standards. This comprehensive line consists of:
- Standard and welded low-neck pipes.
- Standard and branched welded pipes.
- Small-diameter pipes.
- Welded branched pipes with selectable ends.
- Pipe fittings, including elbow, double elbow and tee, in different types, such as ferrule x welded, double ferrule, welded, double welded, arm lock coupling and cover caps.
- One-touch clamps to reduce the time to attach and detach clamps for easier installation, operation and maintenance, with a special lever that provides fixed tightening torque to enable secure attachment without damaging the gasket.
- Sanitary valves in a variety of types, including butterfly, flange ball, standard ball and small-diameter ball valves.
- Sight glasses — both an in-line version to view fluid state inside glass pipes and a view port version to view contents, such as tank fluid levels
- A standard tube strainer to connect in-line with plumbing to filter out foreign matter or an L-shaped tube strainer that offers easy swap-out with existing elbow plumbing.
- Sanitary pressure gauges and sanitary cleaning balls.
