Snack Maker Opens New Facility at Former Butterball Site in Arkansas

The company plans to create over 150 jobs in three years.

Contract food manufacturer Sany Nutrition Group began operations at its new facility in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The $30 million factory occupies a former Butterball site, where the company expects to create over 150 jobs in three years.

Sany Nutrition Group produces multiple high-protein, reduced-sugar and plant-based snacks. It also makes various frozen snacks, pastries, sports nutrition bars and pet treats.

“Through tailor-made formulation, premium ingredients, state-of-the-art equipment and European-American process excellence, we transform bold ideas into distinctive, shelf-ready products in weeks,” Investor Angela Pernsteiner said. “We chose Jonesboro for its business-friendly climate, dependable supply chain infrastructure and skilled workforce.”

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Jonesboro, the company's services include 360-degree concept creation, branding, product development, manufacturing, packaging design, global regulatory affairs and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) consulting.
