OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A Connecticut-based company has announced plans to upgrade its manufacturing plant in Oklahoma City.
Terex Corporation of Westport, Conn., said Wednesday that the upgrade comes following the sale of some road building equipment that was manufactured at the Oklahoma City plant.
The company manufactures equipment used in construction, infrastructure, quarrying, mining, shipping, transportation, refining, energy, utility and manufacturing industries.
Terex currently operates a 700,000 square-foot-plant in Oklahoma City with about 150 employees. The company did not reveal the projected cost of the upgrade or whether it will affect the number of employees at the plant.
