A bipartisan rejection of the Farm Bill today by the U.S. House of Representatives leaves the future of the bill uncertain. The bill went down by a 234-195 margin. House Agriculture Committee Chairman Frank Lucas, the driving force behind the bill sees a bleak future for the bill. He said,
"I can't guarantee you'll see in this Congress another attempt."
