Amplify Snack Brands on Tuesday announced its acquisition of fellow Austin, Texas, snack company Boundless Nutrition.

Amplify, the maker of SkinnyPop Popcorn and Pacqui tortilla chips, said that Boundless generated $7 million in sales in the year ending March 31 on the strength of its Oatmega and Perfect Cookie bars.

Terms of the deal weren't disclosed, but the Austin American-Statesman reported that the company utilized a line of credit of up to $25 million.

"Boundless Nutrition is the perfect addition to our expanding portfolio of better-for-you snack brands," Amplify President and CEO Tom Ennis said in a statement.

Amplify, meanwhile, reported a nearly 23 percent increase in revenue in its latest quarterly financial results.
