DuPont has introduced a suite of science-powered photovoltaic (PV) innovations – expanding the solar industry’s broadest portfolio of PV solutions to meet the needs of the fast-growing solar energy market.  DuPont innovations are designed to increase the efficiency and lifetime of solar modules and reduce overall system costs to help lower the cost of solar energy versus other forms of electricity.

• Four new Solamet® metallization pastes which have been developed to enhance the efficiency of solar cells.
• DuPont™ PV5400 series thin ionomer-based encapsulant sheets that protect sensitive and cost-effective thin film solar modules.
• A new Tedlar® PV2400 polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) film offering extends the availability of long life backsheet material to better meet mounting demand in the industry.
