Dow Launches K 2010 News Portal And Social Media Channels

The Dow Chemical Company ("Dow") today launched a special information portal www.dowstrongertogether.com and integrated social media channels to enhance the experience of stakeholders following Dow's participation at K 2010, the international trade show for the plastics and rubber industry taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany from October 27 to November 3, 2010.

Designed to enable the creation of an online community for Dow stakeholders prior to and during K 2010, these new communication channels are an extension of Dow's K 2010 theme: Stronger, together.

In addition to the information offered by the portal, Dow stakeholders can receive updates about Dow's participation at K 2010 on Twitter by following @DowK2010 (www.twitter.com/DowK2010) or join interactive discussions specific to K 2010 by becoming a fan of Dow's K 2010 Facebook page on www.facebook.com/DowK2010. Throughout K 2010, Dow will also post daily video news updates from Düsseldorf on the portal and on the Dow YouTube channel. Stakeholders not familiar with social media channels or how to register for them can get up to speed with tutorials provided on the portal.
