DuPont’s Ellen Kullman on Forbes World's Most
DuPont Chair & CEO Ellen Kullman was named again to the Forbes World's 100 Most Powerful Women list.
The 2010 ranking recognizes women from government, business, academia, fashion and entertainment based on creative influence and entrepreneurship.
Ellen, who ranked No.18 this year, is joined on the top of the Forbes list by U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama, talk show host Oprah Winfrey, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Kraft CEO Irene Rosenfeld and singer Lady Gaga.
According to the brief Forbes article, “Strong second-quarter results – sales were $8.6 billion, up 26% since the same period last year – have boosted Kullman's confidence after two difficult years as chief of chemical giant DuPont.”
