GRETNA, Va. (AP) — Capps Shoe Co. has received a new contract to produce men's dress shoes for the Army and the Marine Corp.

Media outlets say the U.S. Department of Defense announced the four-year $24 million contract Wednesday.

Capps' Gretna factory has produced the military shoes since 1994.

The company also has a separate five-year contract to produce women's dress shoes for the Army, Navy and Air Force. That contract was awarded in 2010.

The Gretna factory employs 160 workers.
