Information-technology and staffing provider CDI Corp. said Friday it put a GlaxoSmithKline executive on its board.
Anna M. Seal, the chief financial officer of the drug company's manufacturing and supply division, will serve on CDI's audit committee.
CDI praised Seal's background in financial management and global business.
Shares of CDI rose 86 cents, or 7.5 percent, to $12.41 in afternoon trading.
